Irish Setters need copious amounts of exercise. Irish Setters are exceptionally friendly and sociable with people and other dogs. This breed does not like to be alone. Irish Setters are quick runners. This breed does not make a good guard dog. Irish Setters need space to roam and are best suited to homes with large fenced yards.
